We made use of Hummingbird Technologies PTY Ltd to assist with our spray program of summer crop when the wet conditions were not favorable to use our self-propelled sprayer. Craig and his team provided a professional service, kept us up to date of any problems and worked through the night when necessary, should the day conditions not have been suitable.
Craig also assisted with the spraying off of excessive reed growth in some of our dams and the drone proved to be practical for those areas.
Hummingbird's knowledge and use of technology is proof to us as a farming business that the use of drones for spraying (mapping & surveying areas) is a competent and cost-effective alternative to aerial spraying by an aircraft crop sprayer.
